Inhalt
Ich hab an so vielen Orten gelebt wie ich alt bin, also elf. Jetzt ziehn wir wieder um, und mir ist egal wohin – es ist sowieso immer das Gleiche.
Eskil zieht mit seinem Vater in Nordschweden von Ort zu Ort. Sich irgendwo einzuleben lohnt sich kaum, in wenigen Monaten geht es ohnehin weiter. Er vermisst seine Mama, die lieber im wärmeren Dänemark wohnt und am Telefon mit dem Vater streitet. Eine schmerzhafte Konstante gibt es in Eskils Leben – an jedem neuen Ort steht er wieder als Eishockeytorwart im Tor, und sein eher dürftiges Talent hilft nicht gerade dabei, Freunde zu finden. Wirklich faszinierend findet Eskil alles über die Seefahrt – besonders das große Schiff, das die eigenbrödlerische Trinidad baut …

I have lived in as many places as I am old, that means eleven. Now we are moving again and I dont care where – it’s still the same.
Eskil moves around with his father from place to place in northern Sweden. Getting settled somewhere is hardly worth it, in a couple of months it‘ll just be time to move on again anyways. He misses his mother, who prefers living in warmer Denmark and arguing with his father on the phone. There is one painful constant in Eskil‘s life - in every new town he‘s out on the ice trying to guard the goal as a hockey keeper, and his unfortunate lack of talent doesn‘t exactly help him to make new friends. Eskil is truly fascinated by anything that has to do with sea travel – especially the big ship that the eccentric Trinidad is building …
